Fairport: Passed away November 30, 2009 at age 54. He is survived by his wife Nancy Howe; daughters Tonya (Brandon) Somerville, Lindsey (Terence) Fannin, and McKenzie Howe; grandchildren Rylie, Sean and Mariah; mother Ruth Hugenbruch; father and step-mother Lee and Susan Howe; brother David (Cindy Williams), sister Julie Howe (Jim Lee), nephew Nathan and niece Kendra; step-sisters Pamela (James) Bradley, Rhonda (Jerry) Tiefert, Laurie (Jack) Riley, Betsy (Tim) French; and many aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews.
Burial will be private. A memorial service is planned for Saturday, December 12, 2009 at First Presbyterian Church of Pittsford (21 State St, Pittsford NY) at 11am, followed by a reception.
In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Alcoholics Anonymous or the charity of your choice.

Way way cool!! I missed my old computer, more than a year now-- and there are treasures there, I tell you!

But, on a more relevant note, I found this memento I wrote about Marj (and you chimed in too) when she died. We were always gonna put up a page-- maybe now, eh? Or did we put it up? In case you've forgotten or (perish!) lost it.

Just a quick note to let you know that we are now the proud grandparents of twins, born to Chris and Emily on Wednesday, July 12 which also happens to be my birthday. Chloe Elisabeth was born at 9:55 am (CDT) and weighed 4 lbs. 14 oz. and 19 1/2 in. Jack Ambrose was born at 9:56 am (CDT) and weighed 5 lbs. 8 oz. and 16 1/2 in.
The children were born at 34 weeks, minus one day but are doing great. Jack was on a respirator but that was removed after 12 hours and then the oxygen was removed after three days. Both are feeding rather well but will remain in the hospital for a week or two. Emily will go home today and I know that it is hard to leave the children behind but thank God, they are doing beautifully. Both parents are VERY tired and know they will have a busy road ahead.
I flew to Chicago the day they were born and was able to hold Chloe and then yesterday (Saturday) Chuck was in Chicago and he was lucky enough to hold both the children, even though they are both in NICU. We will undertake our "Nanny" duties for weeks 4 and 5 after the babies come home from the hospital. Kerry and the boys are here now so hence Chuck and I were doing shifts and the rest of the children will be here during this week. Charles and Stacy leave for their next post in Honduras on the 27th so this will be a good time for everyone to be together.
